Chief engineer diary/機関長日誌・魚雷点火装置
魚雷は、ガスで射出されますが、魚雷発射管にマグネットが仕込んであり、魚雷のスイッチはその磁気により回路が切断されていますが、発射管より出ますと回路が閉じてモーターONになります。
左下がその接点ですが、かなり細かい微調整が必要になります。

Robbe Futaba FC-16 Boat
8-channel computer radio system for boat and truck models. Expandable to 76 functions.
New edition of the renowned FC-16 radio with new software.
The features have been optimised to suit boat and truck models, the helicopter and acro programs have been deleted, and for that reason, we have extended the internal model memory to 10 models.
The ergonomic Tx case can be used with thumbs on sticks, or as a tray transmitter. Aside from the unlimited memory storage possibilities, via the CAMPac-Module system, the FC-16 Boat ´n Truck is the ideal radio for all modellers with a high demand for a fast variety of functions.
Multi-Switch - or Multiprop - channel expansion modules can be fitted to the two Tx option wells.
The maximum expansion allows for 6 Proportional channels and up to 32 switched channels (= 76 functions).
All model programming and data are entered via the 6 key keypad, shown directly on the LCD screen and permanently stored.
The presicion stick units are fitted with mechanical trima with an electronic trim-memory.
Internal connection for DSC- and Trainer operation by using Trainer Module 4, which is installed in one the top option wells.
The normal stick unit may be replaced by the Navy Twin-Stick unit, designed for controlling twin-engined model boats, but can also be used to provide separate control of jib and mainsail on a model sailing boat.
The transmitter can be operated in either FM-Modulation or interference resistant PCM 1024 Modulation.

OTW Designes U-Boat Type7c 完成引取り
今日は土曜ですので、半ドンです。待ちに待ったUボートの完成の連絡を受け、１６ヶ月ぶりに秘密基地へ向かいます。
昼食後大阪を出発して厚木で降りて、工房へ到着
完成品を見て大感激です。
多分世界最高峰のRC潜水艦だと思います。
色々説明を受けました。天にも昇る気分です。
その後、彼と寿司屋で旨い魚に楽しいお酒頂き、翌日曜日に大阪に帰ってきました。

Report #95 完成・引渡しへ
アンテナ線はフライフィッシングラインの下巻きに使用する糸を使い、一部ウレタンのゴムにする事で、取り扱い中の損傷防止にします。
実艦U-96には排気筒は有りませんが、ハイディUボートから複製して取り付けています。
